Omega Weapon is the most powerful monster in the whole game. It is so powerful it makes Ultimecia look like a level 5 grat so you must be careful when taking him on. Finding him isn't as difficult as you might think. Take the team you want to fight him to the fountain in the courtyard and then go to your other team, then take the team you don't wanna fight him to the main hall where you enter and go up the stairs. Go to the right and down the stairs in the next room. Now look around the screen and you will see a rope. Once you pull it you'll have 1 minute to get to the chapel. Quickly go to the change team portal next to you and switch.
Once your with your main team again go through the door really quick and you'll see a weapon in front of you. It's Omega Weapon. Omega Weapon does these attacks in this order and when he has done all of them he will start over again.
Level 5 death: He will do this once only as his first attack and then he will not do it again. This will kill anyone on a multiple level of five unless you have death junction to stat you will all die (coz you should be on level 100 to take on omega)
Meteor: Takes about 500-600 every hit and hits about 15 times on all allies.
Omega blast: Takes 9998 off all allies so make sure you have full life when this attack comes around.
Gravija: Takes 75% of life off all allies like Diablos does.
Terra break: Hits about 20 times at 4000. This is his death move to you and unless you have a hero, a holywar or a high powered GF and protect on you are dead.
Ultima: Takes about 5000 off all allies.
Light pillar: Knocks out one person.
Best way to have prepared for this is by having 100 death on status defence, if you are on level 100s his first attack will kill you if you don't. after that you can start fighting. There are many ways in which people fight this boss mainly, the best way to do this battle is to use items instead of draw. have heros and holy wars ready, start by using Cerberus then casting shell, protect and haste on all, along with aura on all and meltdown on omega, then you should use a holy war. now you can sit back and attack while he can't do anything to you but be warned the holy war usually wares off a second before omega will use terra break, so make sure to renew your holy war by then. if you continue this, omega weapon should be easy for you. If you do not have heros or holy wars, do not worry, there are others ways to beat him, first off start the same way as I said for the other one, which was using Cerberus, haste on all, protect on all, shell on all and aura on all and meltdown on omega. now start attacking with limit breaks, my advise is to have Squall, Zell and Irvine, Irvine using fast shot then moving onto pulse ammo. After omega blast, you will all have 1 hp left, leave it al that as Gravija will then take off 0. now you should use a Megalixir and make everyone summon a high HP GF, this will make sure you live through terra break, after that the GF you summoned should be dead, if not then the next ultima will finish it off. Repeat this process until Omega falls. Another way I found was to use Rinoa against omega, the way I did it was to let her HP slip low then make her go into angel wing, now through the game I raised her with magic bonus, so she had 255 magic, I junctioned her with meteor as her first move, the others are all defence spells, Angel wing only uses offence spells, I also put haste on Rinoa. Now what happened was that Rinoa went into Angel Wing early and started using meteor attacks over and over again against omega weapon. This took off around 8000 per meteor, which was very useful. Squall and Zell I had on defence while Rinoa kept killing him, Omega only got to do 1 Terra Break before he died. That is the easiest way so far I found to defeat him but it only works if Rinoa has 255 magic and alot of Speed.
