Here's how it works, from my perspective.
Pedophilia is a disease, whether social not, it's still a disease. Like cannibalism and incest. It's taboo for a reason.
If you think about touching children, and you think it's ok to think about touching children, then you need help. When you were victimized by a predator, your untreated desires simply perpetuate the cycle.
It's interesting to me that you would reveal this anonymously on a messageboard of this type. I assume you are considering some sort of therapy?

notamonster is taking advantage of the free speech we enjoy here, but that's about the only thing he should take advantage of. As menty said, children cannot make mature, educated decisions about sex, so there's really no argument to make.
