From what I can make out, the skelton was an illusion, and the real Bruce Wayne was blasted back in time, where he starts to make a primitive version of a batsuit in every time period he ends up in (its not stable)

By remarkable coincidence the same thing appears to have happened to captain america

You know, I might be one of the very few who liked Batman Begins better than The Dark Knight. I found TDK to be a little slow and somewhat indulgent.

FINALLY! I know the critics raved about Ledger's Joker, and he was quite brilliant, but it mirrored the very first Batman movie in that it had too much Joker, and not enough kick-ass Batman action.
