Good movie overall. I was little bored with it for the first half hour or so, as the parts with the gang were so similar to a million other slasher movies that I felt like I'd seen it all before. I get that this was done on purpose in order to lull the viewer into a false sense of security, so on reflection it made sense, but sitting through that part wasn't the best. The mystery of the people in the control room kept things moving along, at least.

Actually everything in the base really interested me, so I guess if you wanted to sum up what I didn't like in The Cabin in the Woods, it was the cabin in the woods. Loved all the scenes of mayhem and Sigourney Weaver was a nice surprise. Oh and who doesn't like a movie that ends with the world being destroyed?
