I've read some of his poetry and didn't rip my eyes out.

Do we all have a friend who REALLY got into the Doors as a teenager, and then REALLY got into Jim Morrison's poetry, and then started getting into the same drugs, and started going nuts and thinking he WAS Jim Morrision and started writing bad poetry and slapping his girlfriend around and landing in rehab?

Or am I posting with all the people who ARE that friend?
