The member Gagh recently posted from a known problem block in China, containing many proxies. We/ve had with problems with PM/post spam via proxies in this block in the past.
The following day, Gagh posted from the US, and a review of activity from that IP showed a failed attempted to compromise a staff account from that IP in recent weeks. Gagh's public profile lists his location as being in the UK, which is consistent with his prior accesses.
Based on this, and other data, the account Gagh is suspended indefinitely, pending staff review. It may be permabanned.
The IP that attempted to compromise the staff account has been used in the recent past by a self-confessed dual. This further activity implicates it as a proxy, and a known attacking IP, so it has been blocked. This action should not affect any Ex Isle account. No valid Ex Isle account has ever made more than one post from the blocked IP.
