I want to smell dark matter
There isn't a thread about the Flash season 2 so here's one.

It was stupid how his dad just said "well, I'm leaving town forever!" five minutes after getting out of prison.
 
Agreed. And we were trying to avoid spoilers until you got to see it, seeing as how you're a week behind for some reason.
 
I can imagine after being stuck in one place for 14 years he might want to travel a bit.

Plus when he got in that room and saw how many people Barry had now, he probably felt he was surplus to requirements.
 
Most fans figured they would kill him off, so I guess leaving town is better than dead!
 
Just felt like the writers didn't know what to do with him so got rid of him in the laziest way.
 
It would have been ironic if Barry had smashed that zip drive up, then it cut back to Wells filming the confession, and the audience, but not Barry would know his own anger had caused his dad to stay in prison.
 
HOW IS HIS MUM STILL DEAD IF WELLS WAS NEVER BORN ANYWAY.
 
Maybe Moffat wrote that episode and didn't think it through.
 
The one with the two Firestorms wasn't very good. Caitlin acting like a total snob, then they gave the asshole guy powers and locked him up without trying to fix him or anything. It was their own fault he went mad! The shark was cool though.
 
He was already mad, they just didn't do the research first.

I am just annoyed we just entirely bypassed the whole new guy finding out Barry was the flash thing.

Also, where was Jay?
 
Apparently the mad Firestorm guy's powers will fade away and he'll just go back to being an asshole at some point, which they'll probably never mention again.
 
Well he had a conviction for assault before but he wasn't like super villain mad. And it was still their fault he got powers and became dangerous.
 
So Zoom is Barry's dad right?
 
I thought it sounded like him. And Earth 2 Oliver's dad being the Arrow was a pretty big foreshadow.
 
Could also explain why they wrote him out in the first episode.

Cover him in latex and dub him over with Tony Todd, and who would expect the twist?

Apart from most people.
 
In a surprise twist that will end all twists, Zoom will turn out to be Penisman.

Caitlin and Iris were both a lot hotter on Earth-2.
 
The King Shark effects were really good.
