The good thing about being short

I love slow dancing with very tall women, actually. It's a great perspective, and my head never gets tired.
 
So, I guess if we ever go dancing together, I'll need to wear platform shoes or stand on a chair.

5 feet tall is not funny.... I have to get a chair to stand on to get stuff on the top shelf, change light bulbs, and there is no way I can change the 9v in my smoke detectors because they are in stairways. Go to the deli counter and feel like a little kid peeking over the top, the shoulder harness in my car cuts right across my throat, clothes dont fit, when I sit on the couch, my legs stick straight out. Every extra 5 lbs shows up on my butt.....

You know God exists when you're 5'6" and have rooms with high ceilings, each of which has a light fixture. Because you can hear Him laughing at you.

Gotta buy a real stepladder one of these days, instead of having to McGuyverize a circus of stacked chairs and stepstools...
 
Did I ever tell y'all of my plan to run a Navy composed entirely of midgets? (For that matter any military area that has large, expensive weapons.)

You'd only have to make the decks and work areas half as large, so you'd use less steel, and present a smaller (no pun intended) target to your enemies. Heck, you'd probably get a couple free shots in a fight because your opponent would misread the range.

Midget carriers with midget planes, midget submarines, and midget tanks. It's genius. :techman:
