The Gul's Psychotic Break/WF Implosion Banpool...

The concept of warnings leading to bans on an internet forum was always pretty baffling to me. I think the first time I ever saw it was on TrekBBS in 1999 or 2000, which was weird because before that pretty much every place I'd been online had been a free for all zone without censorship or power tripping "moderators". That's probably one idea that never should have been carried over to Turdforge in the first place.
 
WF doesn't seem to be getting more traffic than TK these days. Most of the fresh threads are Federal Farmer dancing around a ban. If they wanted to silence discussion, they certainly succeeded.
 
I don't know if they wanted to silence discussion so much as just the discussion that didn't agree with their own narrow range of viewpoints. After all, they labeled you a "liar", "tard", et cetera basically because your ideas aren't in line with theirs. The accusations of spamming, et cetera, are lab-certified 100% pure horseshit.
 
Well of course, but what I think tipped them over the edge was the Democrats' disastrous defeat which made any discussions of current events unbearable to leftists unless the discussion was wildly slanted toward the "Trump=Hitler!" narrative.

Heck, gul wanted to stop any mention of Hillary Clinton (which is what I thought they were talking about when they said they'd given me warnings), as if there's a new rule that says losing candidates can't be discussed after the election. Tell that to McCain, Palin, and Romney.

Now Hillary is showing her catastrophically bad judgment once again by joining the recount effort. She'd escaped justice with a truce under the assumption that she'd crawl back into the woodwork and disappear forever. Not content to do that, Trump is probably going to let the FBI and New York Attorney's Office continue their investigations, empanel a grand jury, put her on trial, and send her to prison, along with most of her lackeys and stooges.
 
That's what it looked like to me, as well. Just a major case of gul being a sore loser with a pitiful little ounce of virtual weight to throw around.
 
I wonder if that is the same Mrs. Albert that posted while the sKans were here. Or perhaps I am confusing her with someone else. These board politics are annoying.

And that's really the problem. John went a touch mental, but without a support system to encourage that, he wouldn't have. Why do I say so? Because until he had that support system behind him, he was just fine.

Gul is the primary culprit, and my read is that shootER just doesn't much give a shit but is sanguine about letting Gul stand out as the primary mover. Both of them are still at the reins, and until that's no longer the case, the rest is just Kabuki scene changing.
 
But I can see gul's point about how I was a cancer.

This is the Alexa traffic ranking for Word Forge. As I was "destroying" the place during the run-up to the elections, their daily traffic was skyrocketing.

Yeah, but not the kind of discussion Gul (and probably a few others) wanted. You should have been caterwauling about how "TRUMP = NAZI" and praising the anti-Trump infants tearing up their own neighborhoods and yadda fuckin' yadda. Those are Approved Narrative, after all. Then you would've been fine. You were disrupting the Echo Chamber, though, so you had to be excised.
 
You could still be let back in, of course. Me, not so much. I don't take shit from Gul or from his designated proxies, like Chump. I make them eat the shit they try to feed me, and for that I will never be forgiven. As if they're the ones in a position to forgive. ;)

You're wrong. I mean, I can't say I blame you, he's very good at blending in. It took me years to notice it. But when I got to thinking back, any time there was some kind of discussion Shooter would inevitably chime in with "I'd just ban him." There were other "tells" that helped turn the lightbulb on, but I won't bore you. But once you look at Shooter not as the right-leaning libertarian he styles himself to be but as a statist facist, so much makes so much sense. He's a clever one though. I've got to give him credit. He had me fooled for about a decade and I think there's only maybe 1 or 2 other people who've seen through his act.
 
I'll give you that. I hadn't noticed, but that doesn't mean you're wrong. I'll take a scan through a correlated search for 'ban' and 'poster:shootER' to confirm, but you've never given me a reason to doubt you in any serious context.
