IMDB tells me it is called 'Columbo Likes the Nightlife', and it was written by the son of Gul Dukat!
 
AMAZING, what age is Peter Falk now? They should make another before he dies. Same with Murder She Wrote/Angela Lansbury.
 
I believe he is 80, and wanted to make a proper last story for Columbo but the studio didn't think anyone would want to see someone that old on TV.

Damn, I didn't watch it, although I did switch over at one point and say to myself "isn't that Hurley?" but then I noticed it was Columbo and dismissed it. But Dean Stockwell and Jeffrey Hunter were on Five.
 
Was Sam leaping into the pilot episode of Trek to make sure Hunter didnt make the series?
 
I really should've watched that show more. :D
 
Curb is a great show, worth downloading or watching at 4:45am or whenever Channel4 show it (if it all...it's on More4 at a sensible time.)
 
Unfortunately, Peter Falk has Alzhiemer's pretty bad. So unless they make "Columbo and the case of, 'oh...how did I get in the middle of this busy intersection'", we're screwed.
