He is. I like that they're addressing his fibs now. I used to have a friend just like that (but he died of hair cancer), so it's kind of fun to see Will picking apart the logic of his stories.
 
A lot of people on DigitalSpy were complaining about the squirrel scene being "too much" (but some of them seemed to think a real squirrel was killed for the episode) without understanding that we weren't supposed to be laughing at the dead squirrel but at Jay being so mentally fucked-up that he genuinely believed a squirrel was "taking the piss" and killing it.

I'd like to see him properly stand up to his dad at some point.
 
Some people should be denied TV licenses. And have dead squirrels shoved through their letter boxes.

Did anyone complain about the huge numbers of innocent daffodils whose lives were claimed during the making of this episode?
 
Jay, despite being a shallow wank fest character, is turning out to be one of the most interesting stories. I also wonder about a Dad confrontation coming up with the Benji storyline.

No, I mean the dog actor. They actually killed it, rather than, say, finding a stuffed dog at the taxidermists which had a passing resemblance to the living one.

Next week they actually kill the actress playing Simon's grandmother.

You really don't know as much about tv production as you like you make out. That's how it works! Everyone knows that! :)

To get the bad stuff out of the way: the projectile vomitting scene was too cartoonish and didn't work for me. Yes I understand that Neil at the raw sausages and everything...but still. TOO MUCH.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there were lots of funny bits in this final (EVER?) episode. The "king kong's finger" line, Jay apparently being molested in his weird neighbour's garriage, all the stuff with Neil worried about the pregnancy, Simon's tantrums AND SO ON.

I thought the vomit was fine.

IT WAS A BRILLIANT EPISODE and I won't hear a bad word about it. Wacky has picked up on the best bits, "KING KONGS FINGER" is now firmly in the UK lexicon.
