The Kindle-First Impressions

She moved to Buffalo, NY and opened a pub.

And later died of papercut complications.

No, actually, Ben killed her for insubordination when she suggested they read "The Tommyknockers".

Actually, many modern day libraries allow you to borrow books and return them at a later date.

Parent and sister are incredibly busy and don't have time to drive her every 2 weeks which is when they're due.

Well, I was suggesting that they bring the books to her, rather than her to the books. But if they're busy they're busy.

usually you can recheck books over the phone or internet. I do it all the time and I like in the country.

Yeah, I can renew books online at my teeny lil' library.

Still loving the Kindle, but still a little peeved that it only connects to my home wifi sporadically. However, I realize my router is 5 years old and has a max rate of like 54bps! Time to spend a measly $50 and get one with 300bps.

UPDATE: Loving the Kindle more and more each day. I finished a book during breakfast, and d/l the next book in the space of like 5 seconds. It was awesome.

I finally saw a kimble this weekend while I was on a train, it looked kind of cool actually. The leather cover, it was nice.

Yeah, I have the brown leather cover on mine. I upgraded my 5-year-old router and now the Kindle connects flawlessly. I give it an A+, it's been exceptional.

I like e-books because it's easier to steal them.

I use my kindle mostly to read newspapers and magazines.

I have also ditched the leather cover and carry it nekkid

The Kindle = CANADA'S BITCH!

I own THIS:

Yes, and your ISP reports it to the authorities when you do so. We Canadians are aware of your new internet laws, and we are laughing.

A word of advice, stay away from 'stealing' the J.K Rowling books. You will get OWNED the next day, with notices from her lawyer. Trust me on this. They did this to a friend of mine, who is lucky that he is CANADIAN, so she couldn't touch him with a 3,000 mile pole. His ISP warned him, but nothing else.
