The more I hear about Trek XI the more I dislike it.

Wouldn't a better hiding place be, say, anywhere else, with any other family, with any other last name?

That's more the fault of bad writing on Lucas' part. He decided he wanted so much stuff to happen on Tatooinee such as Anakin coming from there, and to have Owen and Buru actually related to Anakin (which they weren't originally), and then he realises that he has to leave Luke there so it fits in with Episode IV.
 
I think that Mr. Belvedere and Geoffrey from Fresh Prince of Bel Air are the Luke and Leia of the butler set. I also think that one day they will find each other and CONQUER THE WORLD. BITCHAZ2!!!
 
I like that the emporer was secretly pleased that Vader ended up crippled by lava as he knew that otherwise Vader would be powerful enough to destroy him. In fact, did the Emporer SOMEHOW plan to have Vader lava'd?

Lucas mentions it in the DVD commentary, I think. If Vader hadn't been crippled he would have been powerful enough to kill Palps and rule the galaxy (with Padme as a Sith Slut Queen!)
 
Of course if Obi Wan was so a bad ass that he could defeat Anakin when he only had one artificial limb, he should have gone back and finished the job while he was still young, I mean for fucks sake, Vader had four artificial limbs and needed an iron lung just to breath.

Should have been a piece of piss for Obi Wan, but nooooo, he has to go be a hermit, age 40 years in only 18, and then forget he knew R2 and 3PO
