Made me wonder what a style his place must look. I grew up with some neighborhood kids who would let their dogs shit all over the carpet. They would clean it every few weeks.

The memory disgusts me yet I know many people live like that.

I won't even SAY what we found when we pulled up the carpet in our newly purchased house a few years ago....yes, it was hardwood, but the amount of damage from things that had obviously never been cleaned up and thoroughly soaked through that carpet was horrifying. And the people living there had toddlers crawling around on this carpet...

when i was a kid, a neighbor friend down the street had roaches in his house. The roaches were crawling on the ceilings, furniture & just everwhere. The family acted like it was nothing & would swat roaches so casually like it was a normal occurrence. i asked my friend one day why they didn't exterminate & he said "my mom can't afford the 50 bucks to do it". I think i'd do just about anything to raise the cash to get those filthy bugs outta my house.

I have been in my neighbors house before. Man, they had so much garbage piled up in there that we had to plant dynamite and blast our way from room to room

Took us about three days just to find our way back out
