when i said, "don't buy a netbook", i wasn't aware of the specific situation, serving in iraq and all. i would want the smallest, cheapest POS over there as well, if it fails, it fails. oh well. but beyond that, i think they are not worth it. a tiny, underpowered computer that has two functions, web and email? pass.

For alot of people (even outside my unique situation) however, a tiny underpowered computer that can get on the web and email is all they want a laptop for. Why spend hundreds or thousands more for stuff they will not be using?
