1. He likes diving into water.
2. He is quite young.
3. He is one of our favourite Olympians despite only winning a bronze.
4. His TV show splash is beyond dreadful.

No surprises there then.
 
Technically, he is bi. He made a coming-out video only because an interview twisted his words and claimed he said he wasn't gay, when in reality he's been with a guy for several months. (But he has also dated girls and fancies them too).

It's stupid that he had to make the video at all, but good for him.
 
Tom Daley is such a fantastic person. You are right that it is a shame he had to make the video.

He has, however, done a very good job of it.

OK, if you are going to get picky then why badge him with anything at all?

I'm not going to get too much into hero worship for the guy, as he delivered this to our TV screens. I think he even wants to bring it back soon.

I thought there was an inference that he has stated a Bi preference and I was calling him gay. Maybe I over reacted.

Anyway, it's causing more column inches over here than it really should, and I am adding to it here! ho hum...
