Excited to see someone actually trying to remake it.

It was the only television that I could not miss when i was a kid (about 8 or 10) when it was replayed on BBC2 I think, that I am reluctant to think they might try and touch it.

Anyone seen it in the states? Are the reviews right?
 
Did you see the pilot ep on ITV the other day? I thought it was okay, but I've never seen the original, so don't know how faithful/worse/improved it was.

All I do know is, Six should've asked a lot more questions.
 
I have not seen the new one, but I've seen the old one and liked it.

I must check this out. If they kept the mod sensibilities and the "be seeing you" salute, I'll be kinda happy. If it's dark and "cool"...meh.
 
I saw a few minutes of it (the remake) tonight and the main guy was talking to a woman with large breasts about something but I don't know anything else.
 
Oh bugger. Another thing to watch online (and on the ITV player... URGH).
 
I saw it. It sucked. Big Time. Especially the ending, which I won't spoil for you, but come back when you've seen it....
 
Are they remaking the series or was it just a one-time made for TV movie?

I remember when it was on when I was a kid. It was too spooky for me and wouldn't watch it but my sister loved it. My daughter saw the reruns some years back and she loved it too.
 
It's a tv mini series. I won't watch it, I just noticed the woman with the breasts when I was CHANNEL SURFING.
