The reason we accuse everyone new of being Jack over at Comicon...

... is that, nine times out of ten, the accusee gets incredibly angry and offended, even if they've never heard of him before. Do you think it's something about the letters "V-A-P" that just sets something off in people? I'd be interested in hearing any theories.

So, that one in ten, who doesn't get incredibly angry and offended for being accused of being Jack, you just tell them to 'Suck it, gnome.'?

There's actually a poster over there who keeps getting called a gnome, and referred to as jack, even though it's been pretty clear that he's not for quite some time and he's posted all sorts of photos and links to myspace to prove he's someone else.

We could stop calling him a gnome, but it really bothers him and he occasionally throws a little fit over it, which is pretty funny.

For some posters in the gutters, the fact of who a new poster really is is much less important than getting under their skin by refusing to believe they're anyone but vap.
