I used to work with this guy who lived like every day was his last. Every day the world could end, and he was prepared. Nothing wrong with being prepared ok, but there is a little extremism there.

Whenever it was cold he would strongly caution us against not getting frost bite, and when it was hot outside he would have us sit and rest to not get heat stroke, and he would FLIP OUT!

"Mirah, Mirah, are you ok? I think you need to sit for a moment, don't get overheated, drink some more water!"

"OMG! Mirah! You broke a nail! Here I have a splint for you, some bandages, take these, you will be ok!"

He was the ultimate boy scout.

@Dave: No. He ate meat. On top of being a survivalist worst case scenerio guy he also has a bit of 'Old boy mentality in him. Where the men are men and the woman stay in the kitchen and cook, except for you Mirah because you are smart and you do a good job at working or some smoke up my ass woosy boy fucker he is.
