The Walking Dead season 5

Well IMO they've been way off the comic story line pretty much from the getgo. While TERMINUS may have been inspired by the Hunters in the book the two storylines never really converged. It's what I like about the tv series over the book, you never really know what's going to happen.

If you go back through all the arcs they may parallel, but never really converge. However, that seems like it's about to change in this season, especially with "The Stranger" coming up.

I was pissed because my DVR cut the afterscene off just before the end of the scene. Maybe they'll start it off with this weeks episode?

One can only hope.

You should be able to tweak the record settings in the DVR to go a minute or two past the show time end.

Wasn't much of a scene, the reveal was the big part of it. Thirty seconds of masked hunter reading the mudsmeared sign Rick left, then unwrapping to surprise! It's Morgan. He will likely be following them to DC. They did a good job hiding his appearance, I never caught wind of it online.

That's the part I missed where it was revealed he was Morgan. I was wondering wtf you were talking about. Thanks.

And thanks for the tip Pandora, I'll have to figure out how to ask it to do that. Besides I want to dvr Talking Dead after anyway, but I think the damn thing breaks it up into two separate shows ;)

It does break it up because it is two separate shows.

In your DVR look for something where you can manage your series recordings and then click the show you want to edit.

TIP: if you are recording Talking Dead right after, DO NOT edit the time. Whatever gets 'cut off' on Walking Dead will pick up on Talking Dead. At least that's how my DVR works it. If you don't record a show directly after then tweak your end time.

Moreover, a senseless beheading would really hit the spot in a big way. Preferably over a misunderstanding that wouldn't have occurred if there were still cell phones.

"Hello?"

"aargh-acck-aargh"

"I'm sorry, who are you trying to reach?"

"blaaaghg"

"Oh, okay, I'll see if he's available."

What if a zombie with a cell phone called ITSELF (it's a time travel cell phone!) and warns itself not to turn into a zombie? I think that's the story they should be telling.

So Bob is Dale, now, huh? (I haven't read the comics but I've heard about that bit of them a lot).

Bit of a slow episode compared to last week, but good enough.

Wasn't clear how Darryl knew that car had Beth in it. Did he recognise the car, or was she visible? I didn't notice her if she was.

I'm not sure what you mean re the car, I thought it had the Fine Young Cannibals in it, but I bet Bob will have a different take on the movie Footloose should he survive this. What's cool about this is, if he was crying outside because he was bitten in the food shelf then guess what they're eating?

I was thinking Bob got bitten too. That should take care of the "Fine Young Cannibals" nicely.

Daryl recognized the car as having Beth in it because of the cross on the back window. That's what I think they implied when they concentrated on the cross. How he saw that zooming past and in the dark like that is beyond me, but who knows? He did scream out, "Hey they got Beth!". Why was it necessary to punch out the tail lights though? I didn't get that.

Yeah I didn't get that either. Those cannibals are about to become the groups arch enemy, I have a feeling.

IIRC he mentioned the cross in the window to the others last week. I think he saw it last season when they took her.
As far as Bob/Dale it might be kinda tough for them to draw out the hunters for the season but it would be funny to see that scene. Laughing at the cannibals and saying " boy did YOU guys pick the wrong week to give up veggies."
