"They didn't even ask any questions."

I want to smell dark matter
Whenever I watched Empire Strikes Back I'd always think the scene with Han being tortured on Cloud City was something to do with him being frozen in carbonate: like maybe they were testing his suitability for carbonate freezing or preparing him for it in some way. HOWEVER as I recently watched the DVD commentary, I now know, direct from Lucas, that he was being tortured to send "ripples" into the Force so Luke would detect his friend's suffering and hurry to Cloud City. This makes sense, of course, since the whole reason Vader had Luke's friends there was to lure Luke and frankly I'm embarrassed that I didn't realised this before and almost ashamed to even be starting this thread, in fact I don't think I'll even hit subm

I should watch Star Wars again, I've got the first three movies somewhere... on VHS.

VHS? WHAT SORT OF DARK-AGE TECHNOLOGY IS THIS OF WHICH YOU SPEAK OF?

I've still got them taped off tv! I should tape over them.

Tape over them with newer recordings of Star Wars, that will appease the gods of VHS and they won't eat you while you sleep.

taping over old Star Wars movies on VHS sends ripples through the force. I tried it once to see if Chewie would turn up, funnily enough the very next day an X wing lego model turned up. TRUE STORY!!!!

People still use VHS?

It could be the original uncrappified version...

I sometimes tape shows if I am working and want to see it later.

The DVD special editions are better because they have HAYDEN but not Luke going "YAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" when he falls down the shaft in Empire and Han and Greedo shoot at the SAME TIME!

Hayden being in the end of Jedi is the greatest travesty of our time.

No it isn't.

Well, okay. After the Iraq war and after Steph in Neighbours constantly using the word "kibosh", it's the greatest travesty of our time.

BB8 was a pretty big travesty, IMO.

Defo.

They mugged us off BIGTIME.

That Cena movie was pretty tragic.

You saw it!?

It was called "The Marine":

I had to!

I forgive you.
