It was a weird movie! I didn't see it in the theater, but I bet the soundtrack was awesome played so loud.

I was going to be a catty bitch and make an America Ferrera joke, but the truth is she's incredibly talented. Bitch sings Sondheim on command.

I loved Ugly Betty because, y'know, I'm a homo and all.
 
It gave Huey Lewis enough of a headache to sue Ray Parker for copying "I Want a New Drug" (the judge agreed with him enough that Parker had to settle out of court for an undisclosed amount).

Amazing that Jeffrey Tambor was a big enough name way back then to be asked to be in the video, although I think that in additiona to asking some big names, they also grabbed whatever actors/stars that happened to be on the studio lot that day. His biggest credits at that point were Mr. Mom, "The Ropers" and a recurring role as the cross-dressing lawyer turned bearded judge on "Hill Street Blues".
 
I had to download this because it was in The Leftovers and I couldn't get it in my head (yes I know it was in Fight Club too, the image kind of gives it away.)
