property on an island off the coast of B.C. and in NFLD
season's tickets to any soccer/football team I want (and of course as I'm independently wealthy I can afford the travel arrangements)

Me too, I love detecting! I got into it last year with a basic model, now this year I want to upgrade and I have a ton of sites I want to check when it warms up...
Do you snipe coins mostly, or relics?

^whatever comes up, although, oddly - lots of (interesting & old-fashioned, but nothing wildly valuable) jewelry, and not so many coins...at least, not any cool old ones. what happened to all the old coins? there's some guy who's been at this for years and has written a bunch of books on ghost towns, etc...I think the bastard's already found tons of the good spots!
