Well the annoying thing is that they pay well, I actually quite enjoy the work in between getting daft, contradictory instructions, and it's different from things I've worked on before, so it's good for my portfolio.

Plus they want me to work on their next project, which is going to be huge. I might be able to afford some unnecessary spectacles and an iPad, so I can finally look like a real designer.

Yes, although if I worked in East London I'd already have all the clobber, while riding a bicycle and listening to a band you wouldn't have heard of yet because their album hasn't dropped.

I'll keep that in mind when I get the brief and timescale. It's fairly straightforward work, but these people just drip information out instead of explaining things properly and answering questions directly, and then they act surprised when the result isn't exactly what they had in mind.

I understand you hate it, but have you seen your competitors use of C3PO? Pretty good, but they WAITED and PAID for good work, you can see that

They loved it, the board apparantly creamed their pants. I think they have to do some changes just because they can. I know it's radically changed, but they were so happy with the work. I think they truly appreciate good design
