In the last few weeks I have had next to no post, the whole of the Uk postal system has fallen apart because of a 400 hundred year old postal monopoly and striking posties.

Utter disgrace

I was in town today and got collared by one of those fucking dread locked students with a clip board asking for two pound a month:

me: Did you know the west deliberatly keeps africa poor so we can buy their produce dead cheap? and if they live in a drought and walk 10 miles a day why dont they walk 10 miles for 10 days then they would be out of the stupid dried up dustball they call home

I found "Jedward" obnoxious and arrogant to begin with, but I really like them now. They seem pretty sweet and Simon says he'll leave the country if they win, so here's hoping...


This week's hate...

ITV News.

I had to turn the sound down the other night because Alastair Stewart was shouting the headlines so loudly. And at the end of the programme there was a maudlin memorial to fallen soldiers ending with the words "we shall never forget". I suppose they're getting so much mileage out of soldiers dying that they felt they should give something back, but it felt like Fox News had been broadcast on ITV by mistake.

But you DO know, of course, that Simon isn't really evil and it's just an act he puts on and whoever wins he's making shitloads of money and loving it anyway.

True, but he'll have trouble making shitloads from Jedward's "music". Maybe he can make a bit of dough from having them do a series of ever more desperate looking magazine features, in each wearing less and less clothing until in a final bid to get the public's attention they claim in Heat magazine that they regularly fuck each other, with exclusive photos inside.

That or they become CBBC presenters. I don't know which would be worse.
