Yeah, you have to build a coop, because dogs like to kill chickens. There aren't a lot of stray dogs around here, but the neighbors' dogs get loose sometimes. I don't think they can control themselves around chickens, their instincts kick in or something.

I understand how the dogs feel. Chickens drive me nuts. It's their neck movements or something. They freak me out.

I tend to buy white eggs mostly because their are less expensive. It is nice to occasionally get the brown eggs just because they are diffrent.
