I do miss my redheaded nemesis-cum-partner-in-crime. That one... was worthy.

I had fairly limited interactions with her back in the day, but they were not unpleasant. She did know how to set a person's blood a-boiling when she wanted to.

I tried Wordforge a few times over the years, but I was always on the outside looking in there; I missed all the in-jokes. I remember a cool board called Random Outlet that was fun for a brief time, was it Twain who ran that? Along the way there was also Shattered Corpse, Haven, Frumious Bandersnatch...

I never thought in a million years I'd end up an admin here, but logically it makes sense; I'm one of the few people still around who was never part of anyone's wars, and I'm not a vindictive or petty person in general, so I could be trusted with the controls, lol. For me, this board has been the longest constant throughout the whole TBBS ancestry tree. And it's still all about dat Spam...

God, I'd forgotten all about Shattered Corpse. Great board name, but a board without a cause, but it was my baby for a long time. I wonder what buried hard drive I stored all the threads on? Should be here somewhere. Had some fun RP on that board.

She died back in 2016, had been in ill health for quite some time.

I could be wrong and I'm not going back to dig around for confirmation, but I would swear in court that I remember her saying she was sick because she had an adverse reaction to birth control pills.
