Ryan Garcia Pays Devin Haney $1.5 Million After Losing Weigh-In Bet​

Ryan Garcia's three pounds overweight, but his pockets are certainly lighter on Friday -- the boxing star just shelled out $1.5 MILLION to Devin Haney after fulfilling his weigh-in bet. Garcia placed the wager during the final press conference for their April 20th fight ... saying he would cough up $500K for every pound he's over the junior welterweight limit of 140. Haney, (31-0) and Garcia (24-1), shook on it ... and even though Ry looked confident, his team was clearly concerned. Rightfully so, 'cause when it came time to hit the scales on Friday, Ryan came in at 143.2 pounds .... meaning a $1.5 million check was made out to Haney, who confirmed his opponent honored the bet. Outside of the financial hit, boxing fans were worried the whole event could be ruined ... but luckily, that's not the case.

Nikola Jokic's Brother Punches Fan In Heated Altercation, NBA Investigating​

Nikola Jokic's brother was in no mood to celebrate the Nuggets' comeback win over the Lakers on Monday ... 'cause he straight-up punched a fan in the stands at the playoff game -- and it's all on video. According to witnesses, the violent incident went down shortly after Joker and his Denver teammates completed their 101-99 win against LeBron James and co. to go up 2-0 in the first-round series. The clip shows Joker's older brother, Strahinja, hop over a Ball Arena seat and down a row ... kicking his way through the crowd to get closer to the male spectator. As soon as Strahinja got within arms reach, he unloaded a fierce punch with his right hand that hit the fan right in the face.

Bam Margera's clearing the air about why his UK tour got the axe -- and while some have suspected it's all about him falling off the wagon ... he's saying he's clean and sober. Here's the deal ... Bam's been across the pond lately for a string of Q&A gigs he'd booked through a promoter -- where he was scheduled to talk to audiences ... all of which recently came to a screeching halt after the peeps he was working with announced the rest of his appearances were cancelled. There's been a lot of accusations and drama brewing in the background this past week -- with allegations that Bam was acting erratic and rolling with a new crew of misfits. Some online -- especially on Reddit -- have been claiming Bam's been indulging in booze and drugs again ... but he hopped online Thursday to deny all that, insisting not only is he alcohol-free ... but he had a perfectly good reason for canceling his shows in the UK.

Ric Flair Addresses Restaurant Incident, 'I Was Wrong For Getting Mad'​

Ric Flair is sharing regret over losing his cool at a Gainesville pizza joint over the weekend ... saying he should've just walked right out the minute things got heated. As we previously reported, the Nature Boy was caught on camera yelling at a Piesanos staffer over an alleged bathroom interaction with the kitchen manager and things got so tense, a patron offered to take things outside. "It just escalated and I was wrong for getting mad, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position," Flair said on the radio show. Flair also backtracked on his scathing review of the eatery ... admitting he enjoyed his time and the meal there before things went sideways. As for the narrative alcohol had anything to do with it, Flair denied being drunk or buzzed ... saying he only had Michelob Ultras and "probably" two mixed drinks. And get this -- Flair said he ended up ordering some Piesanos grub on Uber Eats after the spat ... so it sounds like he ain't exactly boycotting the place.

A third image shows the Chiefs star's boo in a body of water while wearing a tiny fuchsia bathing suit. Mahomes initially took the pics in Belize several months ago ... and was obviously thrilled with the results -- saying shortly after some of the images came back, "I want people to know that they can accomplish anything, even things you never thought would be possible in your wildest dreams."

Magic Johnson's Comment About Stephen Curry's Mom Raises Eyebrows​

Magic Johnson's innocent comment about Stephen Curry's mom has led to some hilarious reactions on social media ... with many quick to question what exactly the NBA legend meant with the shoutout. The Hall of Famer went to X to congratulate the Golden State Warriors superstar on winning the PWBA Magic Johnson award on Thursday ... which is an accolade that recognizes players who display "cooperation and grace in dealing with the media and fans" throughout the season.

Ex-Red Sox Pitcher Austin Maddox Arrested In Anti-Child Predator Sting​

Authorities have released Austin Maddox's mugshot ... and he appears a bit beaten up, with red marks on his face, and what looks like a partially swollen eye. Former MLB third-round pick Austin Maddox was arrested during an anti-child predator sting in Florida last month ... and now, the ex-Red Sox pitcher is facing several felony charges. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released the results of its five-day "Operation Valiant Knights" bust on Monday ... claiming 27 men believed they were communicating with underage girls online -- but in reality, they were speaking to detectives. 33-year-old Maddox -- who appeared in 13 career games -- was arrested on April 28 ... and charged with traveling to meet after using a computer to seduce/solicit/lure a child, solicitation of a child via computer to engage in sexual conduct, unlawful use of two-way communication device, and produce/promote performance which includes sexual performance by a child. His bond was set at just over $300k.

NBA Legend Alonzo Mourning Has Prostate Removed After Cancer Diagnosis​

NBA legend Alonzo Mourning underwent surgery to have his prostate removed recently ... revealing he was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. The Hall of Fame center opened up on the procedure he had back in March ... explaining he was forced to take action following a routine prostate cancer screening that showed a rise in his PSA scores. A second appointment confirmed Mourning had a Gleason score of eight ... which is a high grade of prostate cancer. Prior to the medical discovery, Mourning said he felt in pristine condition. "I was in shock," Mourning told ESPN. "I can't tell you enough about how well my body felt. I was in top-notch shape -- running sprints, strong." Thankfully, the disease did not spread beyond the prostate ... and the cancer was surgically removed.

It's not every day one gets to interview a football legend like Vince Young, so when a Golf Channel reporter saw her chance, she took it ... but there was just one problem -- it wasn't him! The cringeworthy confusion all went down on Thursday at the BMW Charity Pro-Am in South Carolina ... when Lauren Withrow thought she had grabbed VY out on the course -- but instead, nabbed an assistant football coach. Check out the video, she confidently spoke to him as if he were the former Univ. of Texas superstar quarterback ... and asked him about his golf game. The man she was actually talking to, though, was Citadel assistant Everette Sands ... who tried like hell to get her out of the mess -- but Withrow continued to press onward nonetheless.

Charles Barkely gave an unfiltered interview during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday ... accidentally letting an F-bomb slip on live TV. It all went down during the second-period intermission of the Oilers vs. Panthers matchup ... when Kyle Bukauskas of SportsNet asked the 11-time All-Star for his thoughts on the series so far. Barkley was in the middle of praising Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky ... when all of a sudden, he slipped up and dropped the expletive. Barkley immediately apologized for cussing ... saying sorry to the reporter and the parents who may have had their kids around. The reporter didn't seem too bothered by it all ... as he got a good laugh after the F-bomb was uttered.

Shaq Unearths Long-Lost Notorious B.I.G. Collab, 'Reign' Album​

Shaquille O'Neal is updating his past hip hop hits for the digital era -- his 1996 Biggie collab "You Can't Stop the Reign" is on streaming for the first time!!! Such will be the case for Shaq's 3rd album of the same name ... he and his Jersey Legends Productions are planning to re-release the full 'Reign' album on June 28 ... the tracks with Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, DJ Quik, Peter Gunz and Lord Tariq will also get a fresh drop on the public. Not many artists can brag about having a Biggie feature ... especially one with impact. The late Bad Boy Records star's lyrics from Shaq's song were eventually reused for Michael Jackson's "Invincible" opening track "Unbreakable" and also inspired bars on Jay-Z's "F*** All Nite" song. Major League Baseball Honoring Willie Mays W/ Leaguewide Moment Of Silence​

Major League Baseball will go silent Wednesday night -- at least for a few moments -- as all thirty teams will hold a moment of silence following the death of one of the greatest players of all time, Willie Mays. Mays, arguably the greatest player ever died Tuesday at the age of 93. TMZ Sports has learned MLB quickly put a plan together ... all 15 of today's games won't start before the tens of thousands in attendance have a moment to remember the 24x All-Star. MLB will also honor Willie (and several other players) during a pregame ceremony at Rickwood Field in Alabama, where Mays played decades ago as a teenager. Of course, Mays played for the Birmingham Black Barons in 1948, and Rickwood was their home field. Coincidentally, MLB happened to be honoring Negro League players this week ... when "The Say Hey Kid" passed away.

Bill Belichick's GF Jordon Hudson Hits Cheer Practice In Tiny Shorts, Flies High​

Bill Belichick''s 23-year-old girlfriend is back on the competitive cheerleading mat ... and she's still getting some big air -- all while rockin' a skin-tight outfit!! Jordon Hudson -- a former cheerleader at Bridgewater State University -- attended East Celebriry Hingham practice in the Boston area on Thursday night ... making it clear she's returning to the floor for the 2024-25 competition season. Wearing a pair of tiny white shorts and a teal top, Hudson was thrown around by her teammates for roughly two hours ... as she formally began to get ready for yet another year of events.

Donald Trump, Joe Biden Argue About Golf During Debate​

Foreign policy, social security and climate change all took a back seat to golf on Thursday night -- as Donald Trump and Joe Biden put politics aside for a few moments to trash-talk each other's skills on the links. It all went down after No. 45 and No. 46 were asked about how they believe their bodies and minds would hold up over the next four years if they were elected the next president of the United States. Trump stated he had no worries -- pointing out that he recently won two club championships as evidence. He then stated there's no way Biden could do that, adding, "He can't hit a ball 50 yards!" Biden fired back seconds later -- insisting he was once a six handicap during his time as vice president. He then implied he'd dust Trump on the course if the 78-year-old had to carry his own bag. Trump didn't let any of the talk die down when it was his turn next ... responding that there's simply no way Biden ever got his handicap that low.
