Woo hoo. Got a little sawing done today on a tree in the front yard. Actually, it is a stump that has suckers growing off of it. It looks pretty cool up to a point then it is overgrown and has to be cut back to the stump. I need to paint the stump again too.
Tomorrow night I'm going to work on the little trees and bushes along the front and south side of the house. Tuesday night I'll break the branches down into smaller pieces and bundle it all up to put on the curb.
I need to rent a 30 ft. dumpster again. It is much easier to just cut stuff down and chunk it into the dumpster instead of cutting it down into 3x3 bundles for the trash guys to pick up.

Sawed some last night too. Had to put the chain back on the saw a couple of times. Last time I couldn't get it all shut up and tight right so I put it aside till later. Used a hand saw to finish breaking down the branches I cut off Sunday and Monday, then bundled it all up and put it on the curb.
I may be an old gal, but I'm still sorta sturdy. Just, I used to do both my front and back yard in one day. Now it takes me many short spurts over several days. Still, I get it done.

I took the evening off from yard work and went shopping instead. I was looking for a shrug to wear with two sleeveless dresses I recently purchased. We can't wear sleeveless at work so I need something light to cover up my arms if I'm going to wear them to work.
I didn't find a shrug or an appropriate summer jacket but I did find four new pairs of pants, a pantsuit, and a very dressy blouse. They gave me free jewelry at the store too. OMG - a pantsuit - something I haven't purchased since the 70s - and free jewelry.
Now I'm ready to go to work then go out.
Just so happen to have two more meetings to attend this week. Good timing for snazzy new stuff.
I'm happy.
