Thatcher, Major, Hauge, Smith, Howard and now Cameron.
Blair doesn't seem so bad in comparison does he. People pull up the war as an excuse to trash Blair as if ANY other leader of Britain would of done differently.
Blair was given the task of unravelling how many fucking years of Tory rule that had left the entire country privatized and jobless. Thatcher sold all the council houses and gave us the Poll Tax, Major was ineffectual and out of touch and Hauge, Smith and Howard didn't even have any idea or direction to go in beyond slamming Blair in the House of Commons on matters they would have dealt with a billion times worse and infact have done in the past.
Cameron is jut an attempt to put a compassionate-conservative up against Labour and the fact that he still has his original hair colour is also a bonus for them but the Tories are still utterly useless and directionless and Blair has been a decisive leader for a decade. His ousting is unfortuante, IMO. I don't agree with all his domestic and foregin policy but people seem to have forgotten what life is like in Britain under a truly bad PM.
Gordon Brown on the other hand is a task-master, a control freak and I don't believe he will make a good Priminister. We need Blair to stay or someone else who has some way of reforming and pushing Labour forward again. The idea of the Tories winning again just makes me want to throw up.
