This isn't a definitive list, just 5 that I can remember loving with all my heart when I was a little kid, which was when I loved them the most anyway.

1. Mr Magoo - I had to watch every morning before kindergarten, or I had fits.

2. Underdog

3. Hong Kong Phooey

4. Captain Caveman

5. Wile E. Coyote (I used to cry because he could never catch the roadrunner)

6. IF WE WERE ALLOWED ANOTHER ONE - Fat Albert (HEY HEY HEY)

After seeing some other people's top 5, I think I shouldve put more consideration into mine. I forgot so many great characters.

I agree with Gagh. Its too tough doing a true, well thought out top 5. Maybe a top 25, but then the thread might become TL;DR.

You could make a top 5 for the different periods of your life. I picked my top 5 for when I was between 4 and 10yrs old. I don't have 5 favorites now.
