Top 5 funniest movies of the last 30 years!

some of these are a bit over the 30- year-cut-off but I don't care

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
Evil Roy Slade (1972)
The Princess Bride (1987)
Blazing Saddles (1974)
Rat Race (2001)- I'm sorry, just about every scene Jon Lovitz is in kills me.

^That's so funny, because my friend Christy was in the studio with me when I was talking about this list, and she told me to put Evil Roy Slade. I'd never even heard of the film. I'll have to tell her. :)

I know!
hardly anyone seems to have seen it, and yet John Astin as Evil Roy is a scream. Especially when he falls in love and tries to go straight. One of the jobs he tries is a shoe salesman....no, I don't want to spoil it.... *starts laughing thinking about it*
The cast is hilarious too: imagine Henry Gibson & Mickey Rooney as the bad guys....

You are probably wondering why I brought you here tonight.

My favorite funny movies:

1. Airplane
2. Austin Powers-esp the first two
3. Chris Kattan/Night at the Roxbury Corky Romano-These actually sucked-I don't know why I put them here-but Chris just makes me laugh.
4. Happy Gilmore-Again, not the funniest, but I enjoy it
5. Burgler-I love Whoopi and Bobcat-but haven't watched it since I was young.

I am sure as soon as I click submit others will come to mind.
Adam Sandler
Drew Barrymore
Any slapstick

EXPLAIN YOURSELF, YOUNG MAN.

SNAP OUTTA IT

Damn, I'm old. I wanted to limit it to 20 years 'cause I thought I couldn't remember that far back. And "all-time" is a ridculous exercise. I wish a kindly admin would change the title to "30 years".

If it was all time, Blazing Saddles would have to be on the list.

EDIT: I see Curious beat me to it.

Let's not forget Pootie Tang and Anchorman.

Oh, I can forget Pootie Tang, and Anchorman is okay. My favorite part is the Battle of the Networks.

You didn't think it was funny? I laughed my ass off.

Nobody has mentioned Clerks or the Evil Dead series?

Did I think Anchorman was funny? It wasn't as memorable as Talladega Nights or Blades of Glory. It had its moments.

The Hangover has definitely entered my top 5. Maybe top 3.
