Barca has trouble in defence line due to injuries...that might make a difference tonight. But then their defence has been trouble all season and it hasnt seemed to stop them...

Man U. was featured in Euro Trip, which had a bikini-clad Trachtenberg, so I must root for them using that logic.

I have it on in the background. I suppose I'm loosely supporting Man U since they're an English side, even though I'm not particularly nationalistic and half their players are foreign anyway.

United need to up their game big time. Ronaldo is the player who will win this for them but Barca have started passing the ball for fun and are stopping any concerted United attack.

Messi doesn't seem to be having the same sort of problems he had with Chelsea's defense and is getting round United's backline way too often.

Fergie needs to change something at half time.
 
I'm also conflicted on who to support as a neutral. I should logically be supporting Barca but the with all the European elitism from UEFA and the hatchet job done on Chelsea I won't be too sad if United retain the crown and piss off Blatter, Platini and their cronies.

Of course then on the flip side I will have to put up with endless gloating from United fans but meh.. They're the English team so yeah, I hope they get the victory.

They really need to do something if that's going to happen though. It woul dbe dissapointing no matter who wins if this ends up 1-0. I want penalties!

Well, it was the feast of football predicted, but all in one direction. Barcelona are on a different plane right now. I've never been so happy after a United defeat, they were just that damned good.
 
oh damn. i know i'm supposed to hate "the Scum", but I generally pull for the english teams. doesn't matter anyway, Burnley all the way next year!!! ;)
 
Good match, 1st time I've ever watched an entire football match that wasn't women's Team USA.

yep, Iniesta can be very proud of his contribution today. I could tell Henry was still not 100 per cent, but I was glad to see him still try some elegant and clever plays that nearly worked. Same with Ronaldo. I love watching both those guys carry the ball. beautiful.
Messi's goal was superb.
van der Sar made some great saves!
I liked how Sir Alex went and shook hands with the Barca players before the match, and how the Barca manager went and shook hands with the Man U players afterward.
The nice thing about being neutral is one can sit back and just enjoy the match for itself for once.
But it really was Barca's day - this time.
Some lovely football today, folks.
 
oh, and did anyone notice Tommy Smith's tie? :D
