That was my thoughts exactly, everything about it screamed season one.

Mind you, it could be as simple as its not a carried over script so much as a reuse of an episode they already made.

I notice they changed the opening voiceover from "and you better be ready" to "And Torchwood's ready." STILL WAITING for everything to change though.

No, but he did have a humourous moment when Tommy asked Toshiko for a cup of tea and she just looked straight to Ianto.

Anyway, I thought it was really, really good. Some of the bits with the 'ghosts' were even a little creepy. Best episode so far IMO!

Really? I thought the ghosts were completely un-spooky. Someone mentioned about the lighting being too bright for ghosts and I think I agree with that. I did like the actor who played Tommy and some of his struggles to adapt (though like I said I think they should have focused on that more...then again, they did some of that man out of time stuff last year...then again, they did the romance with man out of time stuff as well, so...) but the story was pretty confusing and silly. I'll bump this thread everytime I think Torchwood sucks and the other one everytime I think it's good.

Well the only ghost I found a bit creepy was the one legged guy, actually. The others were mostly lame.

Also, the bit where the guy says "we're Torchwood!" just before the credits was supposed to be surprising, only they'd shown it in every single advert.

A) because it was IN THE BIGHT SUNNY SUNSHINE
B) because they kept focusing in his one leg, as if saying "HEY LOOK HES GOT ONE LEG. ARE YOU SPOOKED?? ISN'T IT CREEEEEPPY! WOW I'M PRETTY SCARED HERE I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU. LOOK WE'LL SHOW IT AGAIN JUST TO MAKE SURE."
