Trisha Goddard

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Must be the first housemate ever with terminal cancer. Hope they've got good facilities just off the Diary Room for her.

It was funny how she just started talking to Chesney about how they went to the same school, totally ruining his secret mission.

Terminal... I don't know how to feel about this...

How many times is she going to mention Jerry Springer?

JERRY JERRY JERRY

(3 times.)

She said she had a talk show in the States with Jerry and Maury but I don't remember that. Maybe it was streaming or online?

OMG she lived in Connecticut just like me! Maybe we shared the same UberEats delivery people!

She had an American show for two years which was a spin-off from her appearing on Maury: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trisha_Goddard_Show

She was on UK tv longer than that (I never watched though.)

I was in the kitchen during this exchange, and only heard it without seeing what was going on...

Did Trisha interrupt Daley as he was starting to talk about his hero Muhammad Ali to talk about her encounter with Nelson Mandela? Or was the conversation flowing naturally? To my ear, she seemed a little eager to name-drop and brag...

They might have edited parts out to show the Nelson Mandela part. It would be something I'd brag about to be fair.

I would too, but it sounded like she had cut him off when only he was being asked the question and not her. But again, I was just listening and not looking so I don't know for sure.

I vaguely remember she was a bit gobby in her talk show days.

Did I miss all that, or was it from the first episode.

Daley seems to be hardly in it.

It was from tonight's which just aired.

I might have missed some bits while my wife grumbled about getting bad feedback on vinted.

I don't think anyone is going to vote for a lady with stage four cancer.

Absolutely not -- not unless she asks to be voted out or something.

The only way she won't win this is if she decides to leave on her own.

I had similar thoughts.

She must be pretty annoying to live with to get nominated for evction while suffering from stage 4 cancer.

I do get the sense sometimes that she's acting like the house is her talk show. It happens with a lot of presenters who come in...

Judging by the boos I think she's out tonight.
