I think Bill looked hotter in the first couple of episodes. He was scruffy, and I believe sporting some black eyeliner. That's my kinda man....dead, or undead.
 
Yeah, he turned into kind of a wet blanket by season's end. By that point I was hoping Sookie would end up with Sam the Shapeshifter. I missed some stuff from later episodes because of dozing and channel-surfing, like when Sam's powers were discovered.
 
Sam Trammell is like Colin Farrell without the need for blood tests.
