I LOVE who they chose as Godric!! Isnt he just like a perfect Loki??! And Eric's comment (on his death bed): what's in it for me? LOL Classic Eric! and he calls Godric "Swine" when he kills his friends."I'd fight you if I could". That was excellent writing.
Barry's just as I imagined him too.
And Hoyt and Jessica ARE too cute for words.

From the sounds of things I prefer how things have turned out in the show to how they are in the books. I agree, Godric's... very well cast. :) These last two eps have been great, though Jason's stupidity (while funny) is going too far. "You're just like JUDAS!" "Why? What'd he do to you?"

Poor old Jessica... and crikey, Hoyt's 28?
 
He's a young 28. ;)

And Jason is that stupid in the books, so they aren't really changing his character up that much.

I like him more than Bill as a character. Much more interesting and not always whining about something.
 
They put way too much pasty makeup on Bill. He was a lot more attractive in season 1.
