Looking for software on Oink (torrent site), happened across an app I needed for job research, downloaded it and got a virus warning.

I posted something to the effect of, "Hey, not sure everyone is getting this, but I got a virus warning in the uninstaller, so check it out before you run it."

To which the seeder replied via PM:

i dont mean to be a fucking asshole but I take it as a direct hit when someone says my shit is infected. I work in IT so you saying that is basically telling me im sloppy, shitty and just upload shit to any place and if you catch something then fuck you.

Yeah if someone told me I had a flat when i didnt I would probably think, what a fucking idiot. Some guy actually told me my tire was low once, if he could realize it wasnt and pay close attention and yes I did say jesus fucking christ why cant these people leave me alone.

so he's willing to drop some learnin' on a little n00b like me? awww... why would the uninstaller set off my AV and not the keygen? don't mention that the torrent contained no keygen, just a .txt with the key. hmm...
 
Maybe you should point out that he has little to say if his stuff is infected or not, if he doesn't even know what it consists of!

I know this is weird as hell, this is why I wish people would not mention names. I know Courtney, I do not know you. If this is the same Courtney and Kylie, then Courtney also has another Daughter Younger than Courtney and I believe she just had another kid in 2005. This is just weird as hell the guy that says my torrent has a virus is someone that knows someone I used to know a very long time ago. I used to be a guy who was down the wrong path back then but now I have moved on and started my own family and want to live a peaceful life. I partied alot and was involved in criminal activity, I wish I had never been involved in all of that but you can not change the past, right? Now all I can do is look forward and enjoy life as it comes to me one day at a time just as anyone else.
I have almost finished school and am working in computers (still making shit pay) but hey I'm in hopes that one day it will get better.
