I was thinking about Lost and all the mysteries still to be solved (FOUR TOED STATUE LOL) then I realised that BSG has lots of unsolved mysteries and shit too. I can't actually remember them all, so add some to the list please.

What was the Cylon "plan"? As in "and they have a plan?" Was there really anything? Once we got to see the Cylons by themselves it turned out they were just as clueless as the humans.

Who slipped the note reading "there are only 12 cylon models" under Adama's door? The obvious answer is Baltar since he was still feeling guilty and conflicted at the time, but we never found out for sure. COULD IT HAVE BEEN one of the final five?

What happened to the passengers on the Olympic Carrier in 33?

Shelley Godfrey. What the fuck was that all about? I seem to remember it was implied that Head Six sent her, since she appeared right when Head Six disappeared from Baltar's brain. But we later find out that the Head People are not cylons at all. So what was her purpose? Was she really trying to strengthen Baltar's position and if so why? Did the cylons plan for him to one day become president? Or was she really trying to discredit him? And how did she manage to disappear at the end of the episode?

Ellen Tigh: Cylon? They never explained how she just showed up on some ship with amnesia, really, unless we just take the story at face value (and it sounded suspicious.) Then there was Baltar's "I'll never tell" after doing the test at the end...but if Baltar knew she was a cylon why didn't he include her as one of the final five?

Boomer telling Baltar there were eight cylon models in the fleet when he threatened to kill Tyrol. Was it just a random number? What was the point of the scene anyway (Baltar never actually used the information for anything)?

Callie and Tyrol's baby: Cylon-human hybrid?

What did the cylons do with Starbuck's ovaries?

Why did Leoben say "Adama is a cylon" to Roslin? Just trying to freak her out OR IS ADAMA REALLY A CYLON?

Why is Leoben so obsessed with making Starbuck love him?

Who are the Head People and what is their ultimate aim?

Why did the human race leave Kobol in the first place? Don't give me any of that "God" stuff...

Were the cylons planning to follow Galactica to Earth all along? Did they let Galactica survive on purpose? If so, how come sometimes they seemed to really try to destroy it in battle?

Are there any humans left alive on Caprica? What about the other 11 colonies? Is each colony on a different planet?

Wow.. good questions. I really should rewatch the first two seasons (don't know if I can stand to watch season 3 over).

I think the Cylon plan was to wipe out the human race, but if fell apart when some of the Cylons became sympathetic to humans.. not counting the final 5, who apparently were always sympathetic.

I can't even remember Adama getting that note at all.. so I can't even speculate on who gave it to him. My memory is complete shite.

The Olympic Carrier was the ship that Apollo and Starbuck blew up, right? I think the Cylons killed all the passengers, or sent them to their ovary farms.

Shelley Godfrey.. lol once again I don't remember the details. I remember her though.. just not what actually happened with her.

Ellen Tigh: I don't think she was a Cylon.. maybe she did have amnesia or maybe she was shacking up with someone and when that was over she wanted back with her husband. She was a slut.

Cally and Tyrol's baby is definitely a human-cylon hybrid. Unless Cally turns out to be the final cylon.. but that wouldn't make sense because cylons can't reproduce. SO ok yeah the baby is a hybrid.

The Cylons implied that they would be able to reproduce together, but they needed to love eachother to do it. Obviously they had some sort of difficulty with that. Maybe it felt too incesty. So Cally and Tyrol could both be F5s despite the sprog since they loved eachother.

I'm fairly sure each colony is on a different planet. That's what's always been suggested(though we've only seen Caprica and Scorpia) and it's how it was in TOS.

Oh and I saw some pics of the actress who plays Ellen on the set. Maybe she's in flashbacks or maybe she's a Cylon?

Maybe Ellen will start appearing in Tigh's head now that he know he's a cylon. I could see them doing that.

CASSIE, the note about the 12 cylons was in the mini movie and never mentioned again. Shelley was in Six Degrees Of Seperation, claiming that Baltar was working with the cylons with a doctored photo to prove it. Baltar tried to destroy the computer in a funny scene and had a run-in with Gaeta in the toilet...then there was "no more mister Nice Gaius!" You must remember that! She just disappeared into nowhere at the end, leaving her glasses. I guess she could have thrown herself into space and regenerated.

ANOTHER QUESTION, how do the cylons know which numbers they are and which numbers are the final five? They can't be the first five numbers, since we alreayd know number 3, but they can't be the last five since we know Sharon is number 8...
 
Oh yeah! I remember the no more mister nice Gaius.. that's the one where she was in the CIC and Baltar thought she was head Six at first.

What is it that's so special about Starbuck AND is she a cylon? Did she really see earth?

Oh yeah it still is. So is it any good? I find that president lady's acting so bad that I have a hard time watching it. I want to punch her and Edward James Olmos in their world-weary faces! Don't pawn your fauxangst on me, charlatans! I know the weight of the world when I see it and you ain't got it!

The point is that the Roslin actress is really bad. It's weird that she was their first choice. I always find her facial expressions and hand actions over the top, like she's trying too hard. And remember that scene where she was tearing up her cards and spontaneously got the giggles? God that was cringe worthy.

Anyway, I reckon it was indeed Baltar who wrote the "12 models" note. They didn't explicitly state it, but wasn't Baltar given that information in that very episode? Sometimes they write things so that they seem ambiguous, but we're actually just expected to join the dots and realise that the most obvious explanation is indeed the correct one.

We saw Scorpia in the background during the attack on the shipyards in Razor. I think actually they show Picon in the full version too, or in a deleted scene.

Maybe the Cylons know their numbers as part of their programming. Like how they can recognise eachother even though they all look the same. What's kind of odd is that Sharon knew that Cavil was a Cylon without apparently ever having met a Cavil before, yet none of the Cylons recognised the Final Five as fellow skinjobs. Maybe there's a significant difference in the way those models are programmed or built. Maybe they're more human?
 
Maybe the Final Five are cylons who have transcended into humans. Like Pinnochio!

I think Mary McDonnell's quite good. Sure, she makes weird facial expressions and yelping noices sometimes, but maybe that's just what Roslin is supposed to be like!
 
That's an annoyingly good point. Well then I just don't like Roslin! She's Galactica's Janeway!!
