Congrats!

Like a northbound hooker on a southbound dong. (That isn't meant to make sense in the context of this thread. It's just a phrase I thought would look cool. I was right.)

I keep having MIXED FEELINGS this season. The cast are great, it's still hilariously funny at times and well executed...but it doesn't feel like Veep? Like when Jonah said "I've been eating so much pussy I've been SHITTING CLITS!" then it pulled back to show he was standing in front of young children that was definintely very funny. But after I laughed I thought "but they never would have done that in the first four seasons." And would Catherine really have released a documentary that made her mother looks so bad? But I dont' want to complain too much because it's still a quality show.

That was...really weird. Selina lost and then the episode just kept going on and she still lost. Then it ended? How are they going to do another season with the whole team split up and moved on to new things? It felt like a series finale.

They made a joke about Sue being missing all season but it's kind of weird that she's been missing all season?

The very sharp turn into "seriously, she's Hillary Clinton. Not even metaphorically, she just literally is" was jarring.

Veep and Silicon Valley have both run out of forward-moving ideas. They should have both ended a year ago.

I will say that I had more individual laughs from Veep this week, and the moving through time with origin/background scenes was interesting. But I really, REALLY don't need to see her run for President all over again. With the same staff who were losers all along the first few times. But hey, it's COMEDY and Julia Louis Dreyfus is a GENIUS, right? Sigh.
