She is last seen in Keith's office with a suitcase, which she opens and we don't see the contents of. This is just after she is told of the $8m in the Property Portfolio left by Beaver. Keith stands up Veronica at the airport, presumably due to the contents of the suitcase.

Yes, not as focused as Season 1, but I think that was with an idea to build a greater picture of Neptune for coming series. Still enjoyable, but a little anti-climactic.
