I started watching The Boroughs. The lazy way to describe it is "Stranger Things with old people" and there is a bit of that. It's definitely going for a Spielbergian feel. Alfred Molina is the star and he's always very good. Alfred Woodard appears too...and Geena Davis who I didn't realise is 70. Davis talks like she's got rocks in her mouth though, for some reason, which is distracting. Anyway, I'm on the third episode and it's...okay. The writing is abit unsubtle. Like you've got an EVIL security guard who is really obviously EVIL every time he appears. I'm not saying everything has to be subtle, but it makes it all a bit less interesting. But it's made well enough. I'll finish it, probably.

I'm glad the transition thing whatever it's called erased my review about this show.

It erased me saying I still haven't finished it. I watched the first two episodes then forgot it existed.

Already knowing it's cancelled disincentivizes me from watching it anytime soon. Maybe some rainy/snowy weekend...
