Wacky Watches: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel

Spoilers: They spend the first half of season four going "I... like Riley???" in a really confused way, and then eventually they get to "oh jesus christ this fucking guy fuuuucccckkkk riley"

Are you still listening to Dusted? The guy's kind of getting more annoying? He says "problematic" too much. He doesn't like Harmony or the BuffyBot. I don't know anymore.

I am, and I'm looking forward to them either
a) Liking S6 and S7 as much as they remember and enjoying hate-listening to it
b) hating S6 and S7 and enjoying them going "oh why did we ever think this shit was good"

I just get sick of episode after episode of "look how shit Buffy's life is!" And sometimes "Xander's life is shit too when he acts out of character" and "Riley's life is great though!"

"How can Buffy afford to keep the house and support Dawn? Let's keep asking the question again and again but not quite answering it."

I mean

I'm not a Spuffy shipper
I hate the magic=drugs storyline

I literally can't remember a single other thing that happens in season 6. Tara gets to be rad on her own for a bit? I guess that's cool.

My last rewatch of Buffy was in 2008 or so, and I took a two-month long break in the middle of season 6 because I just couldn't stand it.

I mean yeah I remember OMWF and Tabula Rasa and the Trio and there's Amy and (ugh) Normal Again, but I don't, like, remember what Dawn and Xander and Anya's character arcs are.

But! I'm a different person than I was 8 years ago so maybe I'll like it now who knows~

Dawn's arc was that she stole things and then in the finale it suddenly became Buffy teaching her to fight?

And Xander got fat and left Anya at the altar which made her go demon again and sleep with Spike, because everyone does eventually.
