I actually agree. That's why my allegiance switched to Import after I gained possesion of the Impreza.
And yes, it's a true domestic, before imports started building on US land and vice versa.

Americans need to get out of the automobile-manufacturing business. Fucking cars keep falling apart. I have a co-worker who owned a fucking Dodge Caravan. Fucking transmission DROPPED OUT OF THE BOTTOM twice. Chrysler denies it was a defect. Every single mechanic who has worked on the Caravan states otherwise. A mechanic friend of hers stated the Caravan was the worst van ever built.
 
Diamler Chrysler(damn, sp?) never was dependable.
I believe the last good sturdy, dependable Chevy car ended in 96 with the discontinuation of the Retta/Corsy because they wanted to start saving a buck.

A Canadian Mechanic couldn't fix an American car? Shocking, really. But then I'm sure a Canadian mechanic couldn't tie his shoes so...
