It was pretty weak, mostly rehashes of the same jokes over and over. There were a couple cute mometns, but I kept turning the channel so it must not have been riveting entertainment...
I agree with Donovan, it was pretty weak overall. It's a semi-straight retelling of A New Hope, only Family Guy characters are playing the roles. I don't remember anything being brilliant or laugh-out-loud funny. It rarely rose above the level of a Mad Magazine parody.
Its strange, by combining two of my favourite things, star wars and family guy, they have made something that's less entertaining than either on its own.
The biggest laughs where when they looked outside of star wars for their riffs, like the blues brothers, and blazing saddles.
It didnt help that most of the best bits where shown in that ten minute comicon special.
I thought it was alright. I was very impressed by the way they recreated shots from the movie (but I suppose only real nerds would notice that) and the animination was really good. The jokes were hit and miss, but they always are with Family Guy. And Mick Hucknal guest voiced!
