I liked the fiendishly clever contraptions that Jigsaw dreamed up. I liked Cary Elwes, and I even liked Danny Glover. But the plot of the film, at least IMHO, was a mess. This patient with an inoperable brain tumor has the strength to fight off trained police officers? His motivation is to kill people simply because they "take living for granted"? Hogwash. And how, exactly, did Jigsaw get all the personal information on the people he killed? It doesn't make sense.
The biggest disappointment, for me at least, was realizing that the guy on the floor was "Jigsaw". As soon as I saw the bald guy in the hospital room, I immediately thought of the dead guy on the floor, and figured it was him. Cool twist, but not if you can figure it out waaaay too soon.
Again, the concept of Jigsaw's torture and murder was definitely cool. But the execution and motivations were just ridiculous. Again, just my opinion!
