I don't know, I was apprehensive by the reviews, yet I have watched it twice now and I like it.
They have found really interesting ways to fit the song into the script.
I like all the guest appearances, Although, you could tell Bono wasn't thrilled with having to do the nonsense chorus part in his song.
Eddie Izzard as Mr. Kite was a riot!

^I know, BG; the family loves it! They've rented it at least twice now.
Not sure what about it bugs me, but I keep leaving and they say I have to watch the whole thing through to give it a chance. so far, I keep coming up with 'meh', though.
