Watching Heroes the other night...

Poor Micah, that kid's been through a lot :(
 
Mohinder should get a job at a strip club and use his superpowers to get lots of tips.
 
Is he going to turn into the Hulk? I noticed there was a German guy with magnetism powers. WOW, THAT'S ORIGINAL LOL.
 
I thought it was very short sighted that when Mohinder mentions only three or four superpowers, he includes the very one he ends up with, super strength.

Should have given him something crappy like super minty breath, or super pi reciting to the 40th decimal, or super paper cut resistance
 
I was a bit disappointed by that. Would've preferred to see another new power, but at least his strength works slightly differently to Nikki's.

Peter having a scar doesn't make any sense right now, but the writers wouldn't be stupid enough to overlook that. I'm curious what their explanation will be as well.

As for saving the cheerleader, well the key wasn't so much that Peter should get Claire's power. All that Future Hiro wanted was to stop Sylar from getting it. Whether Claire survived the attack or not was irrelevant, all that was important was to stop her being attacked in the first place. Did they firmly establish that she'd die? I remember there was a scene in Five Years Gone when Sylar cut her head open and she died, but as we know, it would only take someone to pop her head back together and she'd be alive again.

Anyway, Future Hiro really should've been more specific with his catchphrase and said "kill Sylar" or "don't meet Ted Sprague", but as we've established, he's a bit of a moron.
 
OTHER THINGS: They sure killed off Bob fast, considering he seemed like such an important character last season. Almost makes you wonder what the point was in building him up so much.

Oh yeah, even Sylar saying that Claire couldn't die and he "couldn't kill her even if he wanted to" was contradicted in the SAME EPISODE when Cherie Blair had a vision of the future where Claire was lying DEAD with her head chopped off. Surely Sylar could figure out that would kill her?

Also: when they went to future Japan it should have been Godzilla destroying the city.
 
I dont remember the Claire head chopped off dream, did you watch teh next episode on BBC3 or something?
 
BTW, it would have been funny if Sylar put her head on backwards so her hair was over her face when it healed up

I think the point is, she can be killed, but as long as she can be put back together again, she'll come back. So she'll never be dead, dead. She'll just be incapacitated.

I don't remember the dream, but if it's the one with Adam and Pacman's dad, that was a scene shot for season two, if that's any excuse. I don't know why they killed off Bob so quickly, or why there was so little comment on it. Clearly the writers wanted Angela wearing the trousers, but if they keep killing off characters with barely any ramifications, people will lose interest.

Do speedsters never get tired?

Unless the girl was bullshitting, she was talking about running from tokeyo to bankok, which is 1000 miles or so, over water, I guess running over water wont be a problem at that speed, but at the end of the day, even if you are moving faster, you are still running for 1000 miles, and for most people, that would make them a little tired.

Also, if she can move that fast, and percieve reality at the same speed, wont a normal day seem to last many years for her?
 
You know what, I remember saying David Anders' name in the credits (for episode 2 I think) then not even seeing him in the episode. So that must be the dream you're talking about...I don't remember him being in it, just the escaped "super villains".

She wasn't in the second episode, so I don't know. She was one of the few "heroes" who actually seemed to be heading to a career in crime-fighting.

I guess I tend to overthink things

If I was to write hollywood style I guess it would go

Hot girl, big tits, cleavage on show, smart mouth, the sort of mouth thats begging for a cock, hot guy, but still a wuss, non threatening for men, play to the gay angle, cool SFX, gag, gag, cool SFX, explosion, car stunt, tune in next week, TITS!
 
I think that's pretty much what the Heroes writers are thinking, EXCEPT NO GAY CHARACTERS, THOSE BIGOTS?
 
Do you know the story of Zach AKA John Connor? He's denied it, but when Thomas Dekker left the show a few people backstage claimed it was because his agent had said it would damage his career to play a gay character.

I'm not sure if copycat girl (forgotten her name.. ) is returning, as I'm avoiding spoilers, but she wasn't in the third episode either. Pretty much everyone else is accounted for now, so maybe she's gone. I didn't like her character that much (the skipping scene is one of the shows lowest moments), but she was pretty and it would be good to at least tie up the loose end.

No, Peter went out with Simone (played by the hot Tawny Cypress) and in real life the actor goes out with Hayden "onscreen niece" Panetierre, which is sorta creepy.

Yeah, but the character was never "officially" gay and wasn't there a subtext about him being in love with Claire? They should turn John gay on Terminator since it's being cancelled anyway, just to annoy Dekker (okay, his agent) and fanboys!
