Meeting the queen would be interesting I have to say.

She visited the east coast a few years ago. As far as I know she has never been out west.
 
She visited my hometown once, but I thought she'd probably be bundled into a building quickly so there was no point going to have a look, but it later turned out that she'd had a proper walk round the town center saying hello to randoms.
 
IIRC when she was here it was for an anniversary of some kind. She gave a speech before a joint session of congress, walked around some east coast place,attended a state dinner and had to talk with the idiot president we had at the time.

I watched some show about The Queen on PBS and it was on that.

I heard she was addressing the UN,visiting the World Trade Centre area and also a memorial for brits that died in the 911 attack.

I didn't realise her visit was so soon though.
 
yep, she's back home now. Hope it's cooler there! Bloody hell, I hate the heat. I'm descended from Vikings for Odin's sake! I am getting crabby! maybe I'll go and raid somebody. :rwmad:
