Welcome Wacky 8 to Team Wacky!

Hi gang! Wacky 2 here again! Well it turned out Wacky Prime did indeed post the 2010 "I'm spamming the Mine Field on Christmas day!" thread...then we didn't hear from him again. UNTIL he posted THIS YEAR'S "I'm spamming the Mine Field on Christmas day!" thread (which sadly got no replies, I can see what Wacky 5 means about the Mine Field being in decline.) We're glad to know he's still alive but we wish he'd talk to us again!

I haven't posted much this year, sadly. I don't even know who many of the girls on the weekly top tens are! But I'm still in awe of how the others manage to get the Wacky Hot One Hundred out twice a year. What a team.

Wacky 3 has cut back a bit but still contributes. Wacky 5, as alluded to above, has grown somewhat bitter and is convinced that "Facebook" is "destroying" the Mine Field. I can kind of see his point, but it's a shame seeing one of the most popular team members going that way. He did manage to start posting with enthusiasm again in December with the "I wll MURDER a MFer..." thread. Though disturbling he also said he wished he could do it for real!

Wacky 6 also made his annual bitter appearance to call Menty an "utter, irredeemable cunt who never comes back to read the replies to threads he starts" but this thread was quickly edited and he hasn't been seen since. What is it about being a member of Team Wacky that can result in such nastiness?

Wacky 7 has been fairly active in the top tens and has contributed much of the Legend Of Zelda discussion but has been feeling "bored" since finishing Skyward Sword. He has no plans to leave though, I can assure you of that!

Wacky 8 started off with the advent calendar, after being gone most of the year, then stopped posting after five days with no warning. Frankly we may have to release him from his Wacky contract.

Wacky 9 happily returned with the return of Big Brother! You'll be seeing a lot of him in January.

You may have noticed less continuing stories and thingsoftheday this year. That's because Wacky 10 has pretty much retired, citing "creative differences" as the reason. I wish I could get through to him sometimes.

Wacky 11 actually joined earlier than expected (he's been with us for almost a year now) after we needed help with the tops tens. He's been very active in the top ten thread and in other female celebrity discussion. It's great to have him, he's a keeper!

Wacky 12 joined in April and did well...for a month. Then disappeared. Wacky 5 has been saying he has a "feeling" that Wacky 12 killed himself. Hopefully that's not true.

Wacky 13 joined in the summer and has been pumping out some decent "Wacky" material, but he himself admits he's far from a "vintage" Wacky. Looks like 14 will be joining soon!

Well, it's been a hard year, but we're still here, keeping the Wacky torch burning. It would be nice if the other Mine Fielders stepped it up in 2012 (what, do they all have lives or something? Don't they have team members to fill in?) but regardless the team will keep on trucking!

Let's hope the world doesn't end in 2012! Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a ha-ha-happy new year!

My Wacky 401(k) fund showed modest growth for the year, so I'm optimistic about 2012!

$M Gayboy Bruce Wayne is too fond of his life of retirement, and only posts a few times a year when asked to provide a punchline that could only come from him. Also he changes his av portrait once or twice so he can bump his Av Gallery thread in the Tea Room.

Liza Minnelli shows up whenever her ears are burning.

The other members of my team post occasionally but prefer their continued anonymity.
 
Speak for yourself, cunt. I know you won't change the password because you want Wacky Prime to have a way back in, so you're fucking stuck with me.

Bitter? Realistic. And I know some of you are starting to feel the same way. Can a Wacky divided against himself still stand? We'll find out in 2012, bitches.

Hey hey! This is Wacky 2 checking in for the first time this year! Boy, things sure have changed around here! So many great posters have left. It's almost heartbreaking. Where's Menty? I'll admit, I've only been keeping up on things from the updates the other members of Team Wacky send me. Still, I kept my promise to return once again to update you on the current Team Wacky roster! And YES, Wacky Prime DID post the Spamming The Mine Field on Christmas Day thread, as always. Amazing that he always shows up for it. We don't know how he's doing, what his health is like (not good at last report...and that was three years ago) but as long as he keeps going, the rest of us have hope. He's the father to us all.

Wacky 3 still posts from time to time...not as much as we'd like, but he did write a chapter of a Doctor Dave story and four "CEATIVE THREADS" as well as the odd random post here and there.

Wacky 5 has gone full heel, I'm sad to report. It was he who left the nasty message on Facebook on Christmas Day and Private Messaged Menty to say "I literally want to cut your legs off and beat you to death with them, you tall bastard." We tried, perhaps foolishly, to coax him into posting a new "I will KILL a Mine Fielder every day..." type story this December, but he could barely motivate himself to write anything good...well, you've all read the thread. Who knows if he'll even finish it.

Wacky 6 only made one bitter appearance this year, bumping a "HEY MENTY..." thread with the message "HE DOESN'T FUCKING LIKE US, STOP BUMPING THIS FUCKING THREAD." It was deleted and he hasn't been seen since. We don't miss him.

Wacky 7 left forever.

Wacky 8, after being threatened with the prospect of being released from his Wacky Contract, finally started posting again. His contributions have been...adequate.

Wacky 9 has been posting about Big Brother as always. It keeps him happy.

We are HAPPY to report that we worked out a new deal with Wacky 10, giving him much more creative control of his stories. You have him to thank for the Detective Dr Dave stories and that REALLY GOOD Johnny Nose story. You know the one I mean! Great to have him back!

Wacky 11 has not only been given creative control of the Top Tens, he also started the Female Celebrity Of The Day Tumblr! He's a great guy...a little creepy, but when one becomes a Wacky one runs the risk of creepiness.

No sign of Wacky 12. Wacky 5 cruelly PM'd us all saying "Wacky 12 DEFINITELY killed himself, HAHAHAHA! LMWAO!" What a cunt.

Wacky 13 quite in August citing creative burnout. He was never much of a Wacky anyway.

It took a while to find a good Wacky 14, but we managed it in March. He's been doing great. He's even helping me finish this post. I just get so tired...

Wacky 15 was recruited in June to help with the Wacky Hot One Hundred. He said he felt "fucking dirty" after its completition and quit. What a baby.

Wacky 16 joined in August to help with the Mine Field Reunion. When no one showed up, he was a little disheartened. Still, we think that just made him a better Wacky! The depression is actually what motivated him to keep posting. He's contributed a lot since then.

A Wacky 17 in 2013? Amazing that we could ever get this high, isn't it? It's certainly going to happen. The general "just going to die" feel of the currently active Team Members needs to be balanced out be a young fresh Wacky who'll actually think there's some point in posting. He'll learn the truth soon enough...

Well, that's it for me (Wackky 14 now, Wacky 2 went to bed.) Hope you all post more in 2013! LOL! Let's face it, this place is nothing but a Wacky graveyard now...

Hey hey! Wacky 2 here again! Bet you didn't think you'd hear from me this year! Okay I'm one day late, but I got here! The board looks very different now, doesn't it? What happened to the Karma comments? Well, at least we're all still here! Most of us, anyway! I see Wacky Prime made his yearly "I'm spamming the Mine Field on Christmas day" thread. Kind of a poor effort from him, and I really wish he'd contact us to let us know how his health is holding up, but good to know he's still alive...unless he gave his password to one of the Lesser Wackys just to keep the legend going. That horrible thought did occur to me...still, who am I to judge with my one post a year!

Wacky 3 helped with the Dr Dave story but otherwise he has not contributed. I miss the guy, he used to be one of the finest Wackys of all, but this may be his last year.

We actually think Wacky 4 logged in at one point in May, but he didn't post anything. Crazy stuff.

Wacky 5 has been fired after posting nothing but Menty-hate. There will be no more of that in 2014, I'm pleased to say.

Wacky 6's legacy of Menty-hating lives on and has spread to some of the others (see above.) I hate him for that. He even made one disgusting post in the "Dr Dave's Good Sighting" thread but Wacky 8 managed to delete it before anyone saw.

Wacky 8 continues to churn out standard Wacky material. Very standard. He just won't quit.

Wacky 9 is still handling the Big Brother side of things. He's sad that Fuddlemiff has reduced internet access and that it'll "just be me and Tomtrek" posting about Big Brother next month. He was also sad at the lack of "hot girls" on this year's BB.

Wacky 10 did AMAZING work with the "Johnny Nose goes on Big Brother" story and contributed ideas to the "Mine Field Games" epic. He doesn't post much at other times but he's earned his pay with that.

Wacky 11's creepy female celebrity obsession continues. We can't believe he kept up femalecelebrityoftheday for another year and that he managed to post top 25 lists on so many weeks. But it's great that he's still around, honest!

This will be the last year I update you all on Wacky 12. He's gone.

Wacky 14 is doing great. He really enjoyed writing the Mine Field Games. Perhaps too much, as he wanted to put in even more gorey details...

Wacky 16 made a lot of depressed posts. A true Wacky!

Wacky 17 does indeed fancy Natalie Dormer like mad and wants her to replace Natalie Portman in the avatar. We are tempted to agree with this, but the more traditional Wackys think Portman should remain forever. He doesn't post much.

Wacky 18 joined in October after some of the other Wackys stopped pulling their weight. He's okay. He likes Charles Horse but feel he's not good enough to write Charles Horse yet. If you see a non Charles Horse thingoftheday he probably wrote it.

Believe it or not we are already scouting for Wacky 19! It's good to start early. 2014 is going to be a year of change. More creativity, less deppression...well, that's the plan anyway. I think it was also the plan for 2013, come to think of it...

That's it for me (Wacky 14, that's right, Wacky 2 went to bed again and I had to take over...also I want to see all your internal organs) for another year!
